What you'd actually do

  1. Architect extensible, reusable, and operationally excellent cloud solutions to complex migration, modernization, and innovation challenges
  2. Build and own strategic relationships with senior customer leaders across business areas, understanding their industry context and business objectives to influence long-term technology strategy and proactively identify opportunities that support business outcomes
  3. Provide technical leadership across internal and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, building consensus on technical approaches and negotiating architectural trade-offs to drive measurable business impact
  4. Develop and deliver technical content such as workshops, prototypes, and presentations and speak at events to help customers evaluate and adopt new technologies
  5. Advocate for customers by identifying product gaps and feature requests, and work with AWS service teams to help them understand customer needs

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
  • Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
  • Familiarity with modern architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven systems, with ability to adapt and extend these patterns for customer-specific needs.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in designing and producing content for a technical audience, such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals
  • Experience writing for developer and technical audiences: blog, product documentation, technical information
