This role is for a Senior Solutions Architect focused on Databricks' Lakebase product line, which integrates transactional data systems within Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems. The architect will partner with account teams to engage clients, position the product, and drive adoption. Key responsibilities include designing engagement strategies, acting as a trusted advisor, enabling clients through workshops, influencing product roadmaps, and serving as a tier-3 escalation point. The role requires deep expertise in transactional databases, experience architecting solutions within AI/ML ecosystems, and proficiency in SQL and Python.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
  2. As a trusted advisor, serve as an expert Solutions Architect and "champion," building technical credibility with stakeholders to drive product adoption and vision.
  3. Enable clients at scale through workshops and developing customer-facing collateral that helps increase technical knowledge and thought leadership.
  4. Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams
  5. Handle the most complex technical challenges in this product line by acting as the tier-3 escalation point for the field, ensuring customer success in mission-critical environments.
