This role focuses on helping enterprise customers adopt and implement Generative AI and agentic AI solutions on the AWS platform. The Solutions Architect will guide customers through technical engagements, focusing on migration, modernization, security, and customer expansion strategies, with a strong emphasis on GenAI and agentic AI adoption. The role requires deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of modern application architectures, including AI/ML services.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team in enabling customers to build best practice, capabilities, and solutions on the AWS platform
  2. Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
  3. Own each technical enablement and engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value
  4. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice to have

  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers
