This role is for a Senior Solutions Consultant at Brex, an intelligent finance platform that uses AI-native automation. The role focuses on understanding customer workflows, aligning solutions to business outcomes, and leading the technical win strategy in partnership with Account Executives. While the company uses AI and the role requires familiarity with AI-powered financial tools, the core function is sales enablement and consultative selling, not building or shipping AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct structured discovery to understand customer workflows, pain points, and decision criteria, going beyond stated requirements to uncover latent pain through targeted, hypothesis-driven questioning
  2. Identify key value drivers and align solutions to measurable business outcomes
  3. Challenge assumptions and provide a clear, differentiated point of view
  4. Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect directly to customer needs
  5. Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling business value for technical, business, and executive audiences

Skills

Required

  • 4–6+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles in SaaS
  • Advanced discovery skills, with the ability to uncover latent pain and reframe customer thinking through targeted, hypothesis-driven questioning
  • Ability to operate independently alongside Account Executives, leading the technical and consultative motion without requiring SC leadership support
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI-powered financial tools or workflows, with the ability to demo and discuss them credibly with both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders, including executive-level audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create structure in evolving environments
  • Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn, improve, and refine your approach
