This role is for a Senior Solutions Engineer focused on Auth0 Identity Platform in the UK&I region. The primary responsibility is to work with the sales team to progress opportunities by understanding customer needs, building presentations, delivering product demonstrations, and educating customers on cloud security technology. While the company discusses AI and its potential, the role itself is focused on identity and access management solutions, not directly building or researching AI/ML models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Comprehensive discovery. Understanding the requirements of customer's and prospects in the context of their desired business outcomes.
  2. Deal progression. Working in close partnership with the sales team to progress opportunities.
  3. Manage technical sales progression from discovery to technical win.
  4. Building sales presentations, product demonstrations and educate customers (everyone from developers to product managers to C-level executives) on the best ways to cloud security technology.
  5. Have a hands on approach to solution validation, such as building and delivering. custom demonstrations, supporting customer-led PoCs etc.

Skills

Required

  • Pre-Sales role experience
  • Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer experience
  • Ability to articulate complex technical ideas
  • Customer-facing role experience (consulting, support, teaching, pre-sales)
  • Experience with OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP
  • Proficiency in at least one backend stack (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby)
  • Proficiency in a popular frontend stack (React, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience with REST APIs and SDKs
  • Understanding of core security concerns (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
