This role is for a Senior Sourcing Manager focused on silicon and EE components for Oura's next-generation hardware roadmap. The responsibilities include developing category strategy, managing supplier relationships, leading RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and cost analysis. The role requires collaboration with engineering, product, and supply chain teams to ensure a resilient and cost-optimized supply base. Experience in strategic sourcing for custom silicon in consumer electronics is essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Devise and implement end-to-end sourcing strategies for custom and high-complexity silicon components (e.g., SoCs, Sensors, etc.) used in next-generation wearable consumer electronics, considering technical requirements, quality, cost, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
  2. Act as the central commercial owner to hardware, software, firmware, product, and design by aligning architectural decisions and technical requirements with supply chain strategy ensuring feasible, compliant, and cost-effective product solutions.
  3. Drive strategic supplier engagement, lead RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and cost modeling, and run structured weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews focused on capacity, clear‑to‑build readiness, delivery performance, quality, and cost.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of work experience in EE or custom silicon strategic sourcing or procurement
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience working with Tier‑1 silicon suppliers and OSAT partners across Asia and North America
  • Proven experience in negotiating commercials and a deep understanding of should cost
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, can manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

  • Master’s Degree
  • Background in high‑volume consumer electronics and CM/ODM/JDM manufacturing models is strongly preferred
