Senior Specialist, Capability Innovation & Prototype (ai Content Delivery & Partnerships)

Merck Merck · Pharma · Telangana, India

This role focuses on leading hands-on exploration and prototyping of Generative AI-enabled and agentic content capabilities within a large healthcare biopharma company. The specialist will translate workflow needs into experiments, assess feasibility with partners, and prepare for scaling. Key responsibilities include capturing requirements, exploring GenAI/agentic capabilities, executing prototypes, documenting scaling factors, conducting vendor/platform research, and aligning cross-functionally with stakeholders like CEE, product, engineering, and compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead hands-on exploration and prototyping of GenAI-enabled and agentic content capabilities—translating workflow needs into prototype-to-scale experiments, assessing feasibility and value with partners and internal teams, and preparing scale readiness inputs for downstream delivery.
  2. Lead discovery for workflow-of-the-future use cases; define assumptions, constraints, success criteria, and evaluation approach.
  3. Execute and coordinate prototypes/pilots with prototype-to-scale intent; document trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and readiness.
  4. Conduct comparative vendor/platform evaluation and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  5. Partner cross-functionally with CEE, product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure execution fit and adoption readiness.
