Senior Specialist, Employee Communications for Japan, Korea, Taiwan

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Specialist for Employee Communications in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. This role involves developing and executing internal communication plans, managing translations (English to Japanese/Korean and vice-versa), and partnering with business stakeholders to ensure employees are informed and aligned with company culture and values. The position requires strong communication, collaboration, and localization skills, with experience in fast-paced global environments being a plus. The role also involves using AI tools for messaging and content creation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with business stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives, develop integrated communication plans, and execute them to provide the best employee experience. This includes drafting organizational announcements, presentations, messages, talking points, Slack/email copies, FAQs, and other support materials.
  2. Craft memorable, engaging, cross-channel communications and campaigns (Slack, videos, emails, podcasts, digital screens, blog posts, etc.), aligning with our company values, culture, and style to drive awareness and inspire employees to take action.
  3. Translating various internal communications, proofreading and editing final translated content when AI tools or vendor is used, and ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
  4. Plan and execute events/calls for all employees such as All Regional Calls, Executive Town Halls, and other in-person/ hybrid events, utilising technology for engaging experiences.
  5. Work effectively with the International Corporate Communications team and the Global Communication organization through shared processes at all levels within the team and the broader organization. Track campaign results and work with our team and business partners to apply key learnings into future plans.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or a related discipline
  • Ability to speak and write in both Japanese and English (business level) or Korean and English (business level)
  • Experience translating written communications into Japanese and English
  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
