Senior Specialist - Gps Security

This role supports Deloitte's compliance with government security regulations, focusing on personnel security processing and SCIF operations for intelligence community clients. Responsibilities include managing security clearance actions, maintaining databases, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and supporting various security missions and projects. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph and experience with federal security operations and government databases.

What you'd actually do

  1. The primary responsibilities are to perform standard and specialized personnel security (PerSec) processing and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operational duties in support of the Intelligence Community.
  2. Initiate, prepare, and submit required personnel security applications (initials, upgrades, and periodic reinvestigations) for access to National Security Information and Intelligence Community programs to include eApp, SF86, SF86C and other agency required paperwork
  3. Support GPS Security personnel security mission to include daily database entries, including but not limited to status checks in Scattered Castles and DISS; monitoring and queries associated with ensuring our cleared personnel databases are in synch with current employee status; notifications to newly cleared personnel; maintaining updated personnel security and suitability records, outgoing clearance certifications for classified visits; maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal database
  4. Acts as the quality control specialist for personnel security paperwork, ensuring all packages are accurately completed and ensuring any required/associated documentation is included.
  5. Develop relationships and conduct ongoing follow-up, briefings and communications with engagement teams and government points of contact
