What you'd actually do

  1. Lead dFMEA development/updates through product life cycle
  2. Support requirement generation from top level down to the subsystem level
  3. Lead/Support Functional Safety Concept generation and Functional Safety requirement generation
  4. Support the design and development of in-process and EoL HW test stations for deployment in Lidar MFG environment(s)
  5. Algorithm development for system integration and optimization activities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Physics or a related field.
  • Experience in hardware testing, including experience with photonics, embedded systems, digital and analog circuitry, and firmware.
  • Experience with modeling tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB, SysML) and CAD tools
  • Familiarity with standard test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, thermal chambers and vibe tables.
  • Experience with volume manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience working with and debugging complex hardware and software systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
