This role focuses on strategic partnerships for acquiring third-party data to power foundational AI models like Gemini. The responsibilities include understanding AI research needs, identifying and evaluating data partners (especially in the media sector), negotiating agreements, and managing relationships to ensure a pipeline of data assets aligned with AI model priorities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand GDM needs and translate them into sourcing strategies and partnership opportunities for third-party data for Gemini.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners, with a focus on the media sector.
  3. Lead negotiation of partnership agreements, navigating commercial terms, usage rights, data specifications, and legal/ethical compliance considerations.
  4. Build collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless agreement execution. Influence and align cross-functional teams towards shared objectives.
  5. Develop and maintain knowledge of the AI landscape, key players, and emerging trends. Adhere to and contribute to refining the team's operational processes, ensuring efficient agreements, and accurate pipeline management.
