Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst

This role supports strategic sourcing activities for indirect categories, focusing on data analysis, spend reporting, cost review, savings tracking, and turning data into insights to drive sourcing decisions. The role involves partnering with stakeholders, analyzing procurement data, and assisting in managing procurement processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager to support sourcing activities, vendor engagements, contract execution, and procurement workflows under guidance, with the opportunity to gradually own smaller scale sourcing projects.
  2. Assist stakeholders by providing guidance on procurement tools, data insights and sourcing best practices under supervision.
  3. Build and maintain Excel-based analyses, including spend reports, cost comparisons, savings trackers, TCO models, vendor pricing reviews, and other sourcing-related data models.
  4. Analyze travel spend and procurement data to identify trends, cost drivers, savings opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
  5. Assist in managing procurement activities, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors under guidance, with the goal of independently handling the end-to-end procurement process over time

Skills

Required

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data cleanup, cost modeling, spend analysis, and savings tracking.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review large data sets, identify trends, summarize findings, and translate data into clear business insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and eagerness to learn and grow within Strategic Sourcing.

Nice to have
