This role is for a Senior Strategy & Business Transformation Manager at Johnson & Johnson in Mumbai, India. The primary focus is on shaping and driving the strategic agenda for JJIM India, including leading commercial strategy development, business insights generation, and transformation projects. It also involves supporting the SEAI Cluster on Haematology portfolio strategy. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead strategic planning and forecasting processes, coordinating inputs to Long-range and annual Business Plans and Forecasting Updates working closely with commercial and finance stakeholders
  2. Lead end-to-end cross-functional strategic projects and initiatives/PMO for priority business programs - set the workplan, governance cadence, milestones, risk/issue management, and drive an execution rhythm to closure
  3. Institutionalize competitive insights and market-trend data flows, building simple dashboards/executive-ready readouts that convert external signals into clear implications for India strategy and priorities
  4. Support franchise/brand‑level vision setting for the IM India business across evolving competitive landscape, evolving GTM needs, launch-readiness architecture, and pipeline preparedness
  5. Support SEAI Strategy/CE and TA teams to on Hematology portfolio strategy by aligning regional priorities with country realities - synthesize external insights (e.g., IQVIA) and competitive moves into cluster‑level options and recommendations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business / Finance / Science or equivalent)
  • 2–5 years of experience in strategy / strategy consulting / leadership advisory, ideally with a top‑tier management/strategy consulting firm (or equivalent in-house strategy/CEO office role with similar rigor)
  • Advanced Excel: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building complex models and working with large data sets to support planning/forecasting, scenario analysis, and insights generation
  • Advanced PowerPoint: Expert proficiency in PowerPoint, with strong ability to synthesize market/company data into crisp, executive-ready stories and presentations
  • Analytical & structured problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to synthesize and interpret data into actionable recommendations, with high curiosity and a self-starter mindset
  • Stakeholder management & influence: Proven experience partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders, and working collaboratively across functions/markets to drive decisions and execution.

Nice to have

  • MBA / Post‑graduate management qualification preferred, not required
  • Exposure to business planning / forecasting cycles (e.g., annual plans, long-range planning) and performance review cadences
  • Experience with business insights / analytics and external data sources (e.g., IQVIA); comfort with data visualization tools such as Tableau / Power BI
  • Prior experience in/with pharma/healthcare commercial strategy and market dynamics (competitive landscape, policy, access environment)
