What you'd actually do

  1. Own marketplace performance for specific Retail categories by analyzing supply-demand dynamics, pricing levers, and delivery experience to drive efficiency, reliability, and cost improvements
  2. Use SQL and large datasets to identify trends, uncover inefficiencies, and perform root cause analyses that inform strategic decisions and product direction
  3. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to design, evaluate, and scale experiments (e.g., pricing strategies, batching logic, delivery timing), with a clear understanding of success metrics and tradeoffs
  4. Define, track, and operationalize key marketplace metrics (e.g., reliability, cost, conversion), building dashboards and frameworks to monitor performance and measure business impact
  5. Act as a subject matter expert on marketplace products within Global Operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and influencing product and operational roadmaps
