Senior Supplier Operations Specialist

This role focuses on optimizing supplier operations and workflows within Netflix, with a key emphasis on leveraging AI technologies and intelligent agents to drive efficiency and improve processes. The specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven improvements, managing supplier risk, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with engineering teams. What you'd actually do

  1. Apply advanced knowledge of supplier onboarding and maintenance requirements, including banking and tax information, in order to perform and optimize supplier related tasks.
  2. Design, develop, or partner with engineering to build and deploy process enhancements aimed at streamlining manual tasks and optimizing the end-to-end supplier lifecycle.
  3. Identify opportunities for AI-driven system and process improvements, and lead initiatives to implement these changes and drive efficiency gains using AI tools.
  4. Lead projects aimed at ensuring regional compliance (UCAN) for Tax and other regulatory teams.
  5. Identify, assess, and manage incidents related to supplier risk, including fraud and email compromise, to mitigate potential threats.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of relevant supplier data management, risk management, and P2P experience
  • Advanced operational knowledge of supplier data management, including banking and tax requirements for UCAN, with foundational knowledge on a global scale.
  • Experience with an ERP system, Workday preferred
  • Excellent project management skills, including design, documentation, and change management, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder collaboration and relationship management, with a track record of building trust and resolving issues efficiently and accurately
  • Working knowledge and understanding of risk management, fraud prevention, governance, and supplier management processes, techniques, and systems
  • Familiarity with risk assessment tools and mitigation techniques
  • Ability to analyze, communicate, and negotiate risk findings
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance rules and regulations
  • Organized, with exceptional attention to detail and adherence to timelines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep curiosity and passion for automation and process improvement
  • Ability to root cause/problem solve independently
  • Solid customer service skills, with experience enforcing adherence to compliance
