We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join NVIDIA quality team. The successful candidate will base in Vietnam and play a critical role in ensuring that our contracted electronic manufacturers (CEMs) meet rigorous quality standards required for our products. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with CEMs to ensure quality standards are maintained and improved.
- Conduct CEM audits and assessments to evaluate their quality systems and processes.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for supplier products.
- Work closely with the procurement and engineering teams to resolve any supplier-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for supplier quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Well get hold of process and quality guideline and related documents for supplier quality management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of supplier quality activities.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management or engineering or a related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English & Vietnamese is a must. Chinese speaking & listening skill would be preferred.
- Rich experience in electronic device / system manufacturing process & quality control.
- Provide process analysis, identify risk, develop mitigation plan to optimize manufacturing process & quality control.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools, such as 8D, 5-Whys, 5M1E, fish bone and so on.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, ANSI/ESD S20.20, and so on.
- Experience with supplier audits and quality assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of relating respectfully with others.
