Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure contracted electronic manufacturers meet rigorous quality standards for their products. The role involves collaborating with manufacturers, conducting audits, developing quality control plans, resolving supplier issues, leading root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering field, minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese, and knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with CEMs to ensure quality standards are maintained and improved.
  2. Conduct CEM audits and assessments to evaluate their quality systems and processes.
  3. Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for supplier products.
  4. Work closely with the procurement and engineering teams to resolve any supplier-related issues.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management or engineering or a related role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English & Vietnamese.
  • Rich experience in electronic device / system manufacturing process & quality control.
  • Provide process analysis, identify risk, develop mitigation plan to optimize manufacturing process & quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools, such as 8D, 5-Whys, 5M1E, fish bone and so on.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, ANSI/ESD S20.20, and so on.
  • Experience with supplier audits and quality assessments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of relating respectfully with others.
