Oracle is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer to drive supplier qualification, component validation, New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing readiness, and supplier quality initiatives for advanced hardware products. This role serves as a key technical liaison between Oracle engineering teams and manufacturing suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.
Ideal candidates come from electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, datacenter hardware, supplier quality, component engineering, or NPI engineering environments.
Location: Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico (100% Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify and validate supplier components, manufacturing processes, and test strategies.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and production readiness.
- Partner with suppliers to improve quality, yield, reliability, and operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), failure analysis, and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Participate in supplier audits, pilot builds, and manufacturing validation activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Procurement teams to resolve technical challenges and support product launches.
- Act as a technical interface between Oracle and manufacturing partners throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Component Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, NPI, or related hardware-focused environments.
- Strong experience working directly with manufacturing suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Hands-on experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and hardware product lifecycles.
- Experience with supplier qualification, audits, failure analysis, RCA, and CAPA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing testing, validation strategies, and Python-based test automation or data analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, semiconductors, servers, storage, networking, or datacenter hardware.
- Experience supporting NVIDIA GPU-based platforms, AI infrastructure, or high-performance computing systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and coding tools, including AI Codex or similar technologies.
- Experience with X-Ray, SEM, reliability testing, and advanced failure analysis techniques.
- Experience working in global manufacturing environments and cross-functional international teams.
Work Environment
- Full-time onsite role based in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
- Daily presence at supplier and manufacturing partner facilities is required.
- Frequent interaction with suppliers, customers, engineering teams, and key business stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as needed to support supplier qualification, audits, NPI activities, and production readiness.
