Senior Supply Chain Engineer I

Oracle Oracle · Enterprise · Santa Clara, CA +1

This role focuses on the quality and reliability of GPU networking hardware and related infrastructure components, working with semiconductor, networking, and storage suppliers. Responsibilities include defining quality indicators, supporting the product lifecycle from NPI to EOL, driving root cause analysis (RCCA) with suppliers using methodologies like 8D, analyzing failure data, and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions. The role requires a strong understanding of PC/server hardware components, networking hardware operation, semiconductor manufacturing, and data analysis, with experience in supplier quality engineering being preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, measure, and manage key quality and reliability indicators, including DPM, AFR, RPM, and MTBF.
  2. Support quality performance across the full product lifecycle, from NPI to EOL.
  3. Drive root cause analysis and corrective action with suppliers using structured RCCA methodologies, including 8D.
  4. Analyze failure data to identify symptoms, classify known versus unique failures, and support log analysis.
  5. Partner with suppliers and Oracle internal teams to resolve quality issues and manage turnaround time.
