Senior Systems Architect - Datacenter

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to design next-generation AI Super Computing Datacenters, focusing on power, cooling, and layout tradeoffs. The role involves defining engineering requirements, documenting designs, and collaborating with various technical teams to ensure optimal balance of performance, quality, and cost for production clusters.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help create and deploy NVIDIA’s reference AI Super Computer datacenter designs
  2. Define key engineering requirements and specifications to drive collaboration with system leads, customer requirements and engagements, marketing and application engineers
  3. Provide requirements, engineering responses, feasibility analysis, present options and ensure the datacenter designs meet the optimal balance of performance, quality, scalability, re-use, reliability, cost and time-to-market
  4. Document designs and plans to encourage collaboration with other design teams and as a reference for future deployments
  5. Provide status updates and communicate issues internally providing recommendations as a key part of the team to help with tough trade-offs

Skills

Required

  • BS (Masters preferred) in Applied Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of overall experience
  • Technical knowledge of datacenter design and familiarity power and cooling technologies
  • In depth understanding of the relevant datacenter industry partners, OEM and ODM, vendors and competitors
  • Strong communication, verbal, and written skills while working closely with key architects and data center deployment teams to align on product requirements
  • Team oriented with a "can do" attitude, highly enthusiastic in solving multi-disciplinary challenges
