Senior Systems Designer role focused on requirements, documentation, and compliance of connectivity driver software for medical devices in critical healthcare environments. The role operates at the system level, ensuring alignment between requirements, design, risk management, and verification, rather than hands-on software development. Requires experience in regulated environments and formal quality processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work as the Senior Systems Designer, own the system documentation and proof of evidence to connectivity driver requirements, system level requirement, risk management, and quality management processes.
  2. Ensure full alignment between requirements, design, risk management, and verification evidence
  3. Ensure that connectivity software drivers achieve the design objectives required to meet the quality, regulatory, customer and business needs.
  4. Produce and maintain high-quality system and regulatory documentation in accordance with medical device standards
  5. Collaborate with related global design teams, and other cross-functions in multi-cultural and global environment.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Bio IT, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of software lifecycle management in a controlled/QMS environment
  • Experience working in regulated environments with formal quality and compliance processes
  • Ability and motivation to work with detailed documentation, traceability, and structured engineering practices
  • Experience in object-oriented design in C++, other modern software methodologies, and agile software development.
  • Fluency in English, and excellent communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in Finland.
