Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an early development stage Group 5 autonomous aircraft program. The role involves shaping customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem requirements, developing system engineering artifacts using MBSE tools, leading systems engineering reviews, and managing program risks. Requires 7+ years of UAS systems engineering experience, familiarity with defense standards, and an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem requirements in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  2. Develop System Engineering artifacts, including system model, to trace from stakeholder inputs through design in a digital thread. Incorporate input from system safety, software engineering, and other disciplines to shape system architecture.
  3. Lead program team through systems engineering reviews including System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design review, and Critical Design Review.
  4. Communicate and manage program risks in conjunction with Chief Engineer and Program Management.
