Boeing is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the IFPC-2 program, focusing on the design, development, and integration of a new interceptor missile system. The role involves defining system requirements, architecture, and interfaces, performing system-level analysis, and guiding technical execution to meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops requirements, functional architecture, and interfaces for the IFPC-2 Interceptor Subsystem
  2. Perform system level analysis and trade studies to shape the development of the IFPC-2 System
  3. Guide technical path for product definition and execution
  4. Drive System Integration for IFPC-2 – drive coordination between IPTs and Program technical staff
  5. Accountable to SEIT Lead and Program Chief Engineers

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Experience with executing engineering in support of program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in development and production programs
  • Experience presenting various levels of technical data to customers
  • Fundamental knowledge of interceptor missile systems and components including radar systems, seeker CONOPs, propulsion systems, and/or missile architectures

Nice to have

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Familiarity with technical proposal development
  • Familiarity with HWIL and Flight Test design, equipment, and validation
  • Familiarity with interceptor models & simulations
