This Senior Systems Engineer role focuses on the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of these complex systems, ensuring they meet mission and customer requirements. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams and supporting various subsystems like sensors, navigation, and autonomy software within a regulated defense environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Working within multidisciplinary teams to develop and provide full system life-cycle systems engineering support
  2. Support the design, integration, and verification process of various subsystems, including sensors, navigation, propulsion, communication, autonomy software, and power systems, into a complete and fully functional AUV
  3. Support the development, review, and execution of comprehensive test plans for development, integration, verification and acceptance testing
  4. Assist in strategic technical planning, risk managements, detailed schedule generation and interface design
  5. Perform as key stakeholder for commercial and Department of Defense programs
