Senior Systems Engineer – Mission Analyst (onsite)

RTX RTX · Aerospace · mckinney, TX +1 · Engineering

This role involves developing and analyzing model-based solutions for mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations in the defense industry. The Senior Systems Engineer will create and integrate computer models and simulations to capture system effects in complex threat environments, execute simulations, analyze results, and develop metrics to communicate outcomes. Experience with scripting languages, scientific computing environments like MATLAB, and standard government modeling tools is required, along with a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participate in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations.
  2. Responsible for the development and integration of variable-fidelity computer models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments.
  3. Modeling of system and mission kill chains using Government, Commercial, and/or Raytheon simulation tools.
  4. Executing mission system simulations and analyzing their results.
  5. Development of metrics and results products that communicate the chain of events that led to an action.
