Senior Systems Engineer providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. Manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. Works in a SCIF environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.
  2. Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine appropriate resolution.
  3. Communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
  4. Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
  • Systems installation, integration, and test experience
  • Engineering technical and project management
  • Internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)
  • Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment experience
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance
