Senior Systems Engineering Specialist responsible for leading the deployment of a new Digital CORE - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system across GEHC Segments. This role involves defining system-level requirements, aligning cross-segment teams, developing integration and test plans, and resolving technical conflicts. The candidate will leverage off-the-shelf capabilities of the PLM software tool and drive process transformation for CAD integration, data management, and BOM alignment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead/drive the system design, documentation, and delivery of the PLM platform standard work, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical constraints.
  2. Collaborate with engineering, IT, product management, operations, and executive leadership to define requirements, manage conflicts, and drive consensus.
  3. Gather, analyze, document, and validate all PLM requirements, translating the business needs into standard work technical specifications.
  4. Lead transformation of CAD integration and data management within PLM to eliminate manual handoffs and enable seamless connectivity.
  5. Lead the development and capture of standardized work processes across existing PLM system functional areas leveraging off-the-shelf capabilities of the new PLM software tool.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering technical leadership.
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of requirements formulation, capture and use of management tools (e.g., DOORs, JAMA, MFALM)
  • Proven experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in complex, cross functional, engineering technical leadership, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system implementation.
  • Experience in new PLM work system development and transition.
  • Experience in adapting existing work system processes to leverage the off-the-shelf capabilities of new SW tools.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, BOM management, configuration control, and change management.
  • Experience in a regulated, multi-product, multi-tier, global supply chain and manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
