Senior Ta Operations Manager

Abnormal AI · Vertical AI · United States · Remote · Talent Acquisition

This role is for a Senior TA Operations Manager at an AI-native company. The primary focus is on managing and transforming Talent Acquisition (TA) operations through systems, programs, and AI initiatives. The role involves owning the TA roadmap, delivering cross-functional programs (including an ATS implementation), and driving the TA AI strategy to improve recruiting workflows. It also includes managing the TA tech stack and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in program management or TA operations, proven ability to deliver complex programs, strong influencing skills, hands-on AI fluency for building and shipping workflows, and proficiency with TA systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the TA AI roadmap. Identify where AI closes real gaps in recruiting workflows, scope and pilot solutions, measure impact, and drive adoption at scale across the TA org.
  2. Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs end to end — from scoping and planning through stakeholder alignment, execution, and retrospective.
  3. Drive the annual TA Operations roadmap and quarterly planning cycles. Translate priorities into a sequenced plan with clear owners, milestones, and dependencies.
  4. Own the TA tech stack. Maintain full visibility across tools, vendors, contracts, utilization, and total cost of ownership.
  5. Proactively identify where TA processes are slow, inconsistent, or manual. Define the path to fix them and own the implementation.
