Robinhood is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their Corporate Tax team. This role involves assisting with quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations, analyzing complex tax operations, leading year-end excise tax distribution and RIC testing, preparing partnership returns, supporting SOX processes, and collaborating with various finance and business teams. The position requires 10+ years of tax experience, expertise in partnerships, RICs, and investment funds, and a strong understanding of ASC 740 principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in the preparation of the Company's quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures
  2. Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations
  3. Lead year-end excise tax distribution and quarterly RIC testing process
  4. Lead RIC conversions and prepare conversion step plans
  5. Review partnership returns and associated K-1s, 1120RIC and support 1120 filings

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of tax experience
  • Expertise in partnerships, RICs, investment funds, and alternative investments
  • Solid understanding of ASC 740 principles
  • Strong computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in financial systems (i.e. Oracle, Smartview, data warehouse, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
