This role is for a Senior Team Lead in Data Analytics at Uber, focusing on creating, maintaining, and automating processes for operations. What you'd actually do

  1. To mentor team members and act as an SME in sharing the knowledge at scale within the team/org
  2. Manage a team of COPD analysts to deliver output to the stakeholders, demonstrated by Metrics: OSAT, UMS, Jira Scores
  3. Coordinate with other members of the Community Operations team across the Globe to measure the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes
  4. Timely implementation and completion of the assigned deliverables. End-to-end involvement in the projects with the stakeholders from idea creation to delivery & impact realization.
  5. Timely, on point, professional, and proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Provide key insights, recommendations proactively and be a thought partner for stakeholder

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of work experience in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Statistical analysis
  • Exceptional JavaScript knowledge
  • strong SQL background
  • Strong knowledge in Python/R or similar programming languages
  • Proficient in one or more visualization tools (e.g. Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI etc.)
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Ability to end to end manage projects right from ideation to final execution
  • Define, create, improve, and automate reporting methods
  • Proactively develop new KPIs/metrics to identify trends, generate insights and add value to our partners
  • Work with different teams and business partners to understand the "Why?" in addition to the "What?" behind Uber's biggest challenges
  • Ability to create, monitor views on task management tools like JIRA, Asana to drive team utilization
