Senior Technical Account Manager, Atlas

This role is a Senior Technical Account Manager for Armada's Atlas platform, focusing on post-deployment customer success, platform adoption, operational maturity, reliability, and expansion. The TAM acts as the primary technical point of contact, builds Joint Success Plans, drives deep adoption of Atlas capabilities, and ensures customers realize measurable business value. The role involves monitoring platform health, aligning with security and compliance, identifying expansion opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams like Support, Product, and Engineering. The target customer base is in the energy and defense sectors, with deployments in over 60 countries.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary technical point of contact (L1) for Atlas customers post go-live
  2. Own the short and long-term technical success and health of assigned accounts
  3. Build trusted, durable relationships with customer engineering, IT, platform, and operations teams
  4. Act as the customer’s advocate inside Armada for platform improvements and roadmap alignment
  5. Is main contact point during escalations and drives resolution

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in technical account management, customer success engineering, platform engineering, or SRE-adjacent roles
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms in production environments
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and operational tooling
  • Proven ability to build and drive Joint Succ
