Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for their Professional Services team. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor and product/platform expert for large enterprise customers, guiding them on implementing and leveraging the Salesforce platform, including its AI capabilities. The architect will collaborate with customers and partners, design solutions, provide guidance during implementation, and manage technical aspects of engagements. The role requires strong technical and communication skills, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and experience in enterprise integration and solution architecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as lead architect for the overall engagement by coordinating and aligning work of multiple architects on the team.
  2. Align with project and engagement managers to support planning and implementation in close collaboration with the customer.
  3. Review and guide project vision and direction, implementation approach and key artefacts.
  4. Direct early solution evaluation, including proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives, the account team, engineering, and product management.
  5. Where required, hands-on application configuration to meet customer needs.

Skills

Required

  • Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g. CRM, ERP, HR)
