Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for their Public Sector division. This role focuses on delivering strategic engagements to enterprise customers, leveraging the Salesforce AI CRM platform. The architect will act as a strategic advisor, guiding customers on technical architecture, enterprise integration, and business solution implementation to maximize the value of Salesforce. Responsibilities include solution visioning, system architecture, guidance during implementation, and potentially leading diverse teams. The role emphasizes customer success and digital innovation within the agentic era.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as strategic advisors and Salesforce product and platform guides to the company’s largest enterprise customers.
  2. Act as lead architect for the overall engagement by coordinating and aligning work of multiple architects on the team
  3. Review and guide project vision and direction, implementation approach and key artefacts
  4. Direct early solution evaluation, including proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives, the account team, engineering, and product management
  5. Direct and mentor diverse teams, such as customers, partners, and colleagues in technical delivery aspects, as well as non-technical topics such as communication strategies or executive influence

Skills

Required

  • Prior experience in the Public Sector/Health industry
  • Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture including Cloud, Integration Technologies, Master Data Management.
  • Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
  • Experience in guiding customers and project members in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems
  • Rapidly learn new technologies
  • strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to rapidly ramp on Salesforce product via certifications and scenarios and continue the interest to learn and ramp up on an on-going basis
