Senior Technical Product Manager, Planning and Controls - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA +2 · Remote

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to define and build the future of their self-driving software, focusing on planning and controls for autonomous vehicles. The role involves understanding technical aspects of classical and AI planners, identifying problems, designing solutions, prioritizing roadmaps, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver advanced planning and controls technology for L4 robotaxis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work collaboratively with other technical product managers and technical leads to understand the sophisticated self-driving problems we are solving, and to break down these problems into a solution with prioritized technical requirements.
  2. Interact directly with engineering leaders to convert those requirements into industry-competitive roadmaps enabling our entire system to achieve end to end goals.
  3. Coordinate and collaborate with teams and internal customers to deliver those roadmaps: communicate and resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes.
  4. Develop a deep technical understanding of the entire stack, but especially in your area of ownership, to proactively identify areas of improvement and investment, influencing technical direction
