Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional software development initiatives within Snyk's AI-native Developer Security Platform. The role involves driving programs through the entire software development lifecycle, from inception through launch and program closeout, requiring strong technical knowledge, program management skills, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Diving deep into several programs simultaneously to understand the business and technical challenges being solved.
  2. Building high-resolution program plans that deliver the target outcomes.
  3. Driving the execution of the work, tracking progress and implementing corrective actions.
  4. Setting and managing stakeholder expectations through metrics and qualitative status reporting.
  5. Partnering with Engineering and operational leadership to facilitate technical problem-solving.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including hands-on experience with programming languages, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • 6 years’ experience in program management in the software development space.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • PMP, PgMP or other professional certifications.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience running software development programs/projects as a technical lead
  • Knowledge or experience in modern cyber security operations (SAST, DAST)
