Boeing is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead operational execution, program governance, and delivery infrastructure for a portfolio of survey research, executive assessment, and pre-hire assessment programs. This role involves partnering with scientists to manage program and project management workstreams, including planning, coordination, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Owns end-to-end operational execution across programs and individual workstreams, from intake and prioritization through planning, launch readiness, delivery, and post-launch optimization.
  2. Partners with program leadership to operationalize the research portfolio strategy, priorities, and success metrics, translating objectives into a prioritized roadmap with clear milestones and dependencies.
  3. Leads individual workstreams as a project manager and execution owner, building project plans, tracking milestones, managing cadence, surfacing blockers, and driving decisions to keep work moving.
  4. Proactively identifies risks, reconciles tradeoffs across scope, timeline, cost, and stakeholder value, and ensures delivery remains on track.
  5. Maintains core program operations infrastructure, including status reporting, risk and issue logs, dependency tracking, decision logs, and change control.

Skills

Required

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Project/Operations Management)
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience such as technical program, project management or business operations
  • Experience with working on multiple projects/programs of various size and complexity
  • Experience managing or leading the planning and execution of integrated project plans (risks, issues, and stakeholder communications)
  • Experience working with scientific and technical teams
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
  • Experience working independently in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines

Nice to have

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master credentials
