Senior Technical Program Manager - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the development and productization of their autonomous vehicle software platform. This role involves managing project roadmaps, schedules, and cross-functional engineering teams to integrate subsystems, ensure quality, and drive releases in an agile manner. The ideal candidate has extensive program management experience in software engineering, a track record of successful product releases, and experience with automotive software development, though direct AI/ML building is not the core focus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with the engineering team to come up with and handle project roadmaps, schedules, achievements and work you're doing as part of the development team.
  2. Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple program/engineering managers who own individual components.
  3. Balance risks and address problem that affects release scope, schedule and quality
  4. Work closely with the leadership team to help define measures of release quality using industry standards
  5. Establish metrics to assist with assessing the health of the release

Skills

Required

  • BS/MS Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years Program/Project Management experience
  • Software engineering project planning and execution
  • Commercial product release experience
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Jira and/or JAMA
  • Process improvement
  • Risk management
  • Metrics and KPI generation

Nice to have

  • PMP, Scrum Master certification
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, autonomy software integration and machine learning
