As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll lead cross-functional programs that enable large-scale product management for millions of Amazon devices worldwide - from Echo and Alexa to Fire TV, Kindle, and emerging connected devices. You'll be the leader defining execution strategies and driving delivery across multiple service teams, working directly with senior leadership to set program vision and priorities. A day in the life As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Device Software and Services, you'll drive complex technical initiatives that enable efficient development and management of Amazon devices at scale. You'll find yourself whiteboarding with developers to map out technical solutions, reviewing PR/FAQs that shape quarterly priorities, and helping teams successfully launch new services. You'll explore opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to automate repetitive tasks, improve developer workflows, and create intelligent features that make device development more efficient.
Stakeholders & Customers: You'll partner with Engineering Managers, Product Leaders, and technical teams across Amazon's device organization. Your work streamlines processes for internal teams who build and manage devices, ultimately helping them deliver better experiences to millions of customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience in technical support and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
