Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary AI projects within Workspace, focusing on Generative AI and the Agentic AI era. The role involves shaping AI user experiences, working with GenAI models, quality, cost, and evaluation, and collaborating with Google DeepMind. The TPM will manage projects from requirements through launch, ensuring architectural alignment and driving trade-off decisions on quality, cost, and latency for products impacting billions of users.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and guide high-impact AI projects from requirements through launch, including defining requirements, identifying dependencies, managing project schedules, and performing risk management.
  2. Own and enable teams to make tradeoff decisions on quality, cost and latency and facilitate continuous quality hillclimbing.
  3. Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide.
  4. Seek out and identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and which affect multiple teams.
  5. Identify trends and themes among project and team issues, and drive root-cause analysis with the engineering, product, and UX teams.
