This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager within Microsoft's Audit, Risk, and Compliance (ARC) Group, focusing on the Reporting and Analytics team. The primary responsibility is to build and operate solutions supporting end-to-end processes, acting as connective tissue between ARC teams and external stakeholders through analytics and technology. The role involves developing and maintaining solutions on PowerPlatform, partnering with engineering for ETL, web/API development, and Azure resource management. A key aspect is building platforms and features, including agents, for ARC use. The ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, and a strong collaborator focused on driving impact.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop or partner with Engineering to design solutions to complex technical needs.
  2. Designing and implementing new features to support customer requirements as well as continuously improving the quality and reliability of existing platforms.
  3. Proposes, designs, builds and deliver solutions that transform large raw data sets into actionable insights and support on-going operational usage.
  4. Collaborate with our business partners to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and prioritize projects to deliver maximum business impact and return on investment.
  5. Ensure delivered solutions are stable, supportable, compliant, extensible, and trusted by our business partners.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of experience in ReactJS and modern front-end development; experience designing and developing cloud-based services or microservices, including Web APIs (HTTP/HTTP2, REST, Swagger) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Azure services (e.g., Storage, Networking, Service Fabric, Synapse) and familiarity with building scalable, cloud-based solutions.
  • Data analysis and visualization experience, including T-SQL, Power BI (DAX, M Query), Excel, KQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Python; ability to build metrics to measure business impact.
  • Willingness to learn and apply Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps).
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing environments in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear insights and communicate project approach, status, and outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, deliver innovative solutions, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
