This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager within Amazon's Intelligent Talent Acquisition (ITA) team. The primary focus is on reinventing the hiring process using AI and machine learning systems to improve scale, sophistication, and accuracy. The TPM will bridge the gap between vision and implementation, orchestrating complex projects, managing cross-functional teams, and navigating technical challenges to deliver solutions that impact millions of job applicants. The role involves defining and implementing data and web-based solutions, partnering with engineering teams, managing multiple projects, and identifying risks in technical strategies. While the team works with AI/ML, this specific role is program management focused, not directly building AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Senior Technical Program Manager will define, and implement multiple data and web-based solutions on a global scale.
  2. You will partner with engineering teams in North America and Europe to plan, design and communicate the implementation and adoption of new programs and processes for the global ITA organisation.
  3. You will manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines, requiring frequent multi-layered communication, organization/time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
  4. You will identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies while defining integration patterns for diverse business needs
  5. Act as a key internal resource in the analysis, measurement, and requirements-gathering related to system health monitoring across the ITA organization
