Senior Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Air Dominance & Strike : Autonomous Airpower Engineering : Program Management

This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager in Manufacturing at a defense technology company. The focus is on owning program-level outcomes for manufacturing engineering, building systems for OEE, yield, and throughput visibility, and using analytical methods like capacity modeling and discrete event simulation to drive schedule and cost performance. While the company utilizes AI and related technologies, this specific role is centered on manufacturing operations and program management, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the program-level outcomes of manufacturing engineering execution through schedule performance, cost performance, and trajectory toward rate readiness
  2. Build the processes and mechanisms that make OEE, yield, and throughput visible, actionable, and tied to program-level financial performance
  3. Coordinate with manufacturing engineers to ensure the right problems are prioritized against schedule and cost targets
  4. Use capacity modeling and discrete event simulation to forecast constraints, validate investment decisions, and inform production planning
  5. Translate operational data into program decisions that keep schedule and cost on track
