What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the lead representative for Manufacturing Engineering in all PD program forums.
  2. Work in lockstep with Operations Program Managers (OPMs) and Engineering Program Managers (EPMs) to align equipment schedules with the master product schedule.
  3. Drive the end-to-end development of manufacturing equipment, from initial requirements gathering and vendor selection (RFQs) to Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  4. Identify technical bottlenecks in the manufacturing process early in the design phase.
  5. Oversee the installation and bring-up of manufacturing lines at global sites, ensuring equipment meets yield, cycle time, and reliability targets.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of technical project management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical/Electrical engineering principles
  • Strong understanding of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical constraints into actionable project plans for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing global equipment vendors and Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
