Senior Technical Program Manager, Npi - Operations

This role is a Senior Technical Program Manager focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) for NVIDIA's Data Center AI accelerator boards. The primary responsibilities involve planning, coordinating, and tracking manufacturing progress, collaborating with engineering teams on firmware and diagnostics, managing customer qualifications, devising NPI handover strategies, and ensuring alignment between factory operations and key collaborators. The role also includes driving process improvements, resolving technical issues, managing project budgets, and coordinating the supply chain and manufacturing plan for revenue products. While the products are AI accelerators, the role itself is in manufacturing operations and program management, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Planning, coordinating, and tracking manufacturing progress to the stated quarterly manufacturing goals.
  2. Collaborating with Engineering and Diagnostics teams to coordinate product Firmware and test diagnostics upgrades.
  3. Coordinating and managing customer qualifications where significant product changes are necessary, in collaboration with customer PMs and engineering.
  4. Devise and implement an NPI handover strategy for ramping new designs into mass production, in close consultation with NPI TPMs and Product Development Engineering.
  5. Using strong communication and influencing skills to drive regular alignment and succinct updates to the factory network.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of experience in product management/production within the server industry
  • Leadership – ability to influence and drive the correct behaviors, negotiate your position, and make and defend solid data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to detail and clearly articulate the status and final project deliveries at all levels of the organization.
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills, comfortable with making informed decisions or escalating, as necessary.
  • Fast issue resolution through out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional Certification a plus.
  • Technical depth in hardware and software development techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of factory production techniques and test strategies.
  • Direct experience delivering complex products to cloud-based customers.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
