Senior Technical Program Manager – Vlsi

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager focused on the VLSI engineering lifecycle at NVIDIA. The primary responsibility is to manage the end-to-end process from architectural concepts to silicon tape-out and productization, optimizing schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring program health. The role involves bridging design, verification, physical implementation, and validation, with a strong emphasis on using project management tools like Smartsheet and automation with Python. While NVIDIA is an AI company and uses AI in recruiting, this specific role is focused on the hardware engineering program management aspect, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the "Arch-to-Silicon" lifecycle, developing high-fidelity schedules and handling complex dependencies across design, verification, physical implementation and tape-out validation
  2. Act as the primary strategic liaison between CSG and cross-functional partners, including VLSI, Architecture, ASIC, Operations and Systems
  3. Participate in key design reviews and handle the change control process to ensure scope changes are balanced against schedule impacts.
  4. Lead Closed-Loop Validation schedules by systematically comparing silicon results against simulation assumptions to refine future model accuracy.
  5. Orchestrate post-silicon test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of architectural requirements, PVT corners, and critical corner cases
