Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for their Test Automation Engineering and Electrical Systems Testing organizations. The role involves partnering with leadership to define hiring needs, improve processes, and recruit highly technical talent in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include developing hiring strategies, acting as a subject matter expert in recruiting tools and techniques, conducting high-volume interviews, sourcing passive candidates, building talent maps, and driving diversity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive hiring strategy full-cycle, providing effective, clear communication and reporting
  2. Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management
  3. Conduct a high volume of interviews, demonstrating ability to anticipate and influence hiring manager preferences through successful interview-to-offer conversion ratios
  4. Engage and source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and referrals
  5. Build talent maps across the Test Automation Engineering and Electrical Testing communities to generate market insights that inform your engagement strategy

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical talent acquisition experience evaluating and hiring top-tier engineering talent, including demonstrated experience recruiting Test Automation Engineers, Systems Test Engineers, and Electrical Test Engineering roles (e.g., test frameworks, CI/CD, hardware-in-the-loop testing, LabVIEW, Python/C++ test automation)
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior level leaders and stakeholders, reporting on progress, creating and advising on talent strategies
  • Experience recruiting in a fast-paced in-house environment (agency background a plus), hiring exempt engineering roles in Test Automation, Systems Test, Electrical Test, or adjacent disciplines (Quality Engineering, Hardware Validation, DevOps)
  • Ability to be onsite/hybrid at Atlanta, GA

Nice to have

  • Experience hiring into aerospace, defense, or other hardware-centric industries (autonomous systems, robotics, avionics, UAVs), with working knowledge of ITAR policies around hiring practices
  • Familiarity with the test engineering landscape including test automation tools (pytest, Jenkins, GitLab CI, NI TestStand), programming languages used in test (Python, C++, LabVIEW), and the universities and employers that produce this talent (top sources: aerospace contractors, automotive test, semiconductor validation)
  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes and positive candidate experiences
  • Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization
  • Experience managing various high-volume pipelines of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process
  • Highly autonomous, collaborative, and adaptable
