Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter specializing in Hardware. This role involves operating independently as a subject matter expert to recruit top-tier talent for the Tactical Recon & Strike division, including Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Firmware Engineers. The recruiter will develop and optimize recruiting strategies, collaborate with leadership, and manage the hiring roadmap to meet company goals. Experience in hardware domains and a DoD Security Clearance are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a trusted talent advisor for complex hiring across the TRS division to recruit for: Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Firmware Engineers, etc.
  2. Develop and optimize recruiting strategies using prospecting techniques, tools, and automation to continuously improve candidate management and data extraction processes.
  3. Collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and senior leadership to shape recruitment strategy, guide process improvements, and drive high-impact, complex hiring projects.
  4. Possess and apply breadth and depth in recruiting tools and general industry best practices, acting as a SME in adherence to process in our systems that impact our reporting and broader hiring strategy.
  5. Own and execute pipeline direction, driving results through metrics-based measurement, including sourcing outreach, candidate-driven data, and offer/close rates.

Skills

Required

  • 5-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in divisional hiring.
  • Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a focus on strategic stakeholder alignment.
  • True Ownership: Accountability for outcomes, with a commitment to improving all aspects of the business.
  • Proven ability to convey complex information in simple terms and drive a data-driven narrative.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a track record of influencing organizational best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment technology and a passion for innovating processes to achieve creative and effective TA goals.

Nice to have

  • Experience in startups, tech, and relevant hardware domains (AAV, UAS, AUV, Weapons, or related programs).
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented in troubleshooting routine obstacles.
