Senior Technical Trainer II

This role is for a Senior Technical Trainer II at Samsara, a company focused on the Connected Operations Cloud. The trainer will be responsible for educating customers on how to use the Samsara platform to improve their operations. This involves delivering training sessions, developing training materials, and collaborating with internal teams. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, as well as experience in delivering training to enterprise customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consult with customers to understand and tailor training content to meet their needs and organizational goals
  2. Produce new and leverage existing training materials as needed and in accordance with team standards and brand guidelines
  3. Deliver high quality and engaging live and recorded training sessions to new and existing customers at small, private engagements and large, in-person events
  4. Demonstrate expertise on across the Samsara platform and show facility in answering a range questions from customers during their training
  5. Collaborate closely with the rest of the Education team as well as other stakeholders to shape content for live training and share customer feedback from live customer events
  6. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s values and operating principles as we scale globally and across new offices

  • 5-7 years experience teaching or delivering training
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time
