Senior Technician, Engineering Services (onsite)

This role involves constructing, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment and systems, analyzing test data, preparing reports, and assisting engineers with new product development and process improvement. The position requires an Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience. It is an onsite role within the aerospace and defense industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, devices and systems working from schematics, engineering drawings and/or written/verbal instructions.
  2. Set up and operate standard or special test equipment. Utilize predetermined methods, sequences and setups to inspect or test electronic equipment or products, recommends necessary modifications and adjustments to engineers.
  3. Analyze, interpret and record test data for engineering prototype and/or first article electronic/mechanical equipment.
  4. Prepare reports, charts, graphs and schematics on developmental engineering equipment.
  5. Document all electronic testing procedures and results.

Skills

Required

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Electronics or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems.
  • Background in electrical technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
