Senior Technology Manager Global Data-network Operations

This role leads a global team responsible for the strategy, governance, and operational reliability of Bank of America's global data network. The primary focus is on transforming operations to an AI and automation-first model to predict, prevent, and remediate network issues at scale. Key responsibilities include managing teams, defining technology strategy, ensuring compliance, and advancing automation and AI-assisted operations for network services.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own the strategy for data network operations, aligned with Bank of America’s business, risk and technology roadmaps.
  2. Advances automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce manual effort (toil), improve consistency, ensure process adherence and enhance network reliability
  3. Implement AI-driven runbooks, self-healing workflows, and intelligent routing of incidents to reduce noise and accelerate resolution.
  4. Track and improve operational KPI’s for the data network operations team (MTTD, MTTR, change success rates, incident volumes, automation coverage, etc.)
  5. Foster a blameless, learning-oriented culture that emphasizes reliability, transparency and continuous improvement. Upskill the organization in automation, AI, data literacy, and modern network technologies.
