This role focuses on enabling connectivity solutions for non-Caterpillar manufactured equipment in rental fleets. It involves coordinating hardware installation, ensuring compatibility with internal technology teams, developing rollout plans, troubleshooting issues, and driving adoption of connectivity standards among vendors. The position also ensures readiness for fleet onboarding into rental systems and supports the integration of telematics data into rental platforms and customer-facing tools. It requires building scalable processes for deployment and lifecycle management, and acting as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate installation of connectivity hardware at Allied vendor manufacturing facilities and retrofit locations
  2. Partner with CAT technology/telematics teams to ensure compatibility, standards adherence, and data flow integrity
  3. Develop and execute rollout plans for new Allied equipment models
  4. Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure timely resolution across vendors and internal teams
  5. Establish working relationships with Allied OEMs and key supplier contacts
